In addition to laboratory-based research experiments, the Auditory Science Laboratory is involved in many translational research areas related to hearing and deafness. This is part of our “bench to bedside” research philosophy. Our clinical research topics are outlined below and include studies related to cochlear implantation in children, measurement of voice production, and studies related to environmental noise issues.
