Monolith NT.Automated Microscale Thermophoresis (MST)

Determination of molecular interaction kinetics (K_d) and target-ligand library screening using microscale thermophoresis (MST) technology
Uses chips containing 24 micro-capillaries
- Sample volume of 15 µL /capillary for loading
- Capacity and throughput of instrument is up to four capillary chips (96 samples) per experiment analyzed in less than 30 minutes
Two detection modes available
- PicoRED fluorescent detector channel detector
  - Provides K_d values from pM up to the mM range for protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions
  - Various PicoRed protein-labelling strategies including linkage through poly-histidine tags, amine groups and cysteine residues
- LabelFree tryptophan fluorescence detector channel
  - No additional protein labelling required
  - Provides K_d values from nM up to the mM range for protein-ligand interactions
