Annual EnRICH Innovative Trial Design Course

A practical three-day advanced-training course teaching innovative trial design methodologies for clinicians and scientists involved in pediatric clinical trial development.

The course will focus on three main teaching blocks:

  1. The use of value of information methods in the design and evaluation of clinical trials
  2. The selection, measurement and validation of child health outcomes
  3. Integrative and alternative study design

Learning Objectives:

  1. Employ value of information methods in study design and analysis
  2. Apply novel systematic approaches to outcome selection and measurement
  3. Select justifiable comparators for an intervention
  4. Contain sources of bias
  5. Implement the advantages of a Bayesian approach
  6. Design and analyse economic evaluations alongside clinical trials
  7. Evaluate and select appropriate trial designs
