At SPARC BioCentre, we utilize state-of-the-art mass spectrometry instruments to characterize proteins in biological systems. Our experienced staff and high-resolution instruments allow us to resolve very complex samples to identify and quantitate the proteins contained therein. We can identify proteins in a variety of matrices, including proteins in solution, 1D or 2D gel bands, and cell or tissue lysates. Typical experiments for us range from initial discovery projects to identification of sites of post-translational modification to validation assays in a large number of biological replicates. The results can be as simple as a list of proteins in the sample or may involve more complicated methods like relative or absolute quantitation.
