Type 1 Diabetes & Celiac Disease
The CD-DIET team developed an electronic resource in collaboration with JDRF to assist dietitian teaching as part of the CD-DIET clinical trial and guide participants as they transition living with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. The feedback received from study participants about this guide was overwhelmingly positive as it provided them with:
- An in-depth knowledge about living with both celiac disease and diabetes;
- The necessary know-how to navigate a diet that is appropriate for both conditions;
- Useful tools and resources, both Canadian-specific and International, to assist anyone living with diabetes and celiac disease
