Terms and Conditions: CASCA is a core facility at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) Research Institute. Please review the SickKids Core Facility Terms and Conditions (PDF) before submitting a service request.
1. Submit a New User Access Request
To request access complete and submit the New User Access Request.
2. Receive Your QReserve Invitation
- We will review your access request. Once reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to join the facility’s online booking system, QReserve.
3. Activate Your QReserve Account
- Follow the link in the email invitation to access QReserve.
- Existing QReserve users: Sign in using your existing credentials or your usual Sign in with Partner option.
- New QReserve users: Select Create New Account and follow the prompts to create your account.
4. Review and Accept the Terms & Conditions
- Before you can access equipment or services, you must review and accept the facility Terms & Conditions.
- Once signed in to QReserve:
- Go to New Users – Start Here, select FCF/CASCA Terms and Conditions and click Request Now.
- Review the facility policies and Terms & Conditions, toggle the acceptance button to confirm your agreement, and click Submit Request.
5. Receive Access to Equipment and Services
- Staff will review your Terms & Conditions request.
- Once approved, the appropriate permissions for equipment bookings and service requests will be added to your QReserve account.

Access:
SickKids labs will be granted access to CASCA at PGCRL upon registration.
External labs (UHN, UofT, corporate, etc.) will be granted access via a security access list upon registration.
