Yadu Balachandran
Post-Doctorate
Current Project: He is currently studying the molecular mechanisms involved in the switch between mesenchymal and amoeboid type of cell migration. He is also involved in studying the roles of septins in targeted immune cell migration.
Education: He obtained his PhD at University of Saskatchewan, where he studied the host-pathogen interaction, innate immunity and TLR signalling. Using various molecular and immunological approaches he characterized the role, expression and signalling pathway of human toll-like receptor 10, known as ‘orphan receptor’ of innate immunity.
Activities: Cricket, travelling and reading.
