Hong Xie
Lab Research Project Coordinator (1996 – Present)
Current Project: Her research includes the early work on septin localization, septin involvement in secretion, and Rho family GTPase signalling and septins. She also maintains septin knockout mouse lines.
Education: She completed her M.Sc. in Biology at University of Waterloo, where she worked on genetically modifying soil bacteria to promote plant growth. Prior to that she received her M.D. at Hebei Medical University in Shijiazhuang, China.
Activities: Her favourite activities include cooking, reading and travelling.
