Project: Ciliopathies are a large group of genetic disorders affecting 1 in 1000 individuals. In order to tackle the molecular basis of ciliopathies I use D. rerio to study the potential role of cilia in these diseases. More precisely, I work on the activation of Rho signaling as a consequence of signal transduction resulting in actin reorganization leading to cilia formation.
