Thank you for your interest in working with our team at SPARC BioCentre, SickKids.
Given the breadth of requests we receive and our current staffing and instrument capacity, we must carefully prioritize projects that are:
- Scientifically aligned with our strategic focus areas
- Methodologically mature and technically feasible
- Supported by confirmed funding
- Likely to generate high-quality, peer-reviewed publications and meaningful scientific impact
To ensure appropriate oversight and project readiness, all requests must be submitted directly by, or explicitly endorsed by, the supervising Principal Investigator. This allows us to confirm scientific alignment, resource commitment, authorship expectations, and funding support before initiating feasibility review.
To assess fit and feasibility, please provide a concise summary including objectives, sample numbers, timeline, funding status, anticipated publication plans, and confirmation of PI support. Submission of this information enables internal evaluation; however, please note that we are not able to proceed with all proposed projects.
Our team reviews new proposals on a rolling basis and will follow up regarding prioritization and next steps.
We appreciate your understanding as we manage demand carefully to ensure high-quality outcomes for ongoing collaborators.
Kind regards,
