Ellie Hogan – Graduate Student, 2020-2023
From: Maryhill, Ontario
Ellie Hogan completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of British Columbia and her MSc in the Molecular Genetics department at University of Toronto.
In the Ellis lab Ellie used computational methods to study protein abundance, micropeptides, and the post-translational modification ubiquitination in Rett System patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells. She compared these findings to the translatome to infer changes in post-transcriptional and post-translational regulation in Rett Syndrome.
Ellie enjoys choral singing, getting out into nature, hosting dinner parties, and playing Dungeons and Dragons in her free time.
