What’s your research background?
My research experience began as an undergraduate thesis student, when I worked on the development of a hydrogel for stem cell delivery in the treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration. This exposure to biomedical engineering applications inspired me to pursue my master’s research project, where I worked on a 3D-printable bioactive ink with stem cells and proteins to regenerate meniscus tissue. Ultimately, my research experience drove my passion for project management and translating healthcare to the bedside.
