The Sung Research Team focuses on improving patient outcomes and driving innovation through, clinical research, data and machine learning<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

About the lab<\/h2><\/div>

The Sung Research Team, led by Dr. Lillian Sung MD, PhD, focuses their research on addressing the most important clinical and supportive care issues across multiple domains, hospital wide. With Dr. Sung\u2019s expertise as a paediatric oncologist, she and her team lead efforts that include the development of clinical practice guidelines and care pathways, the development and validation of instruments and novel technology relevant to symptoms and the implementation of interventions to reduce treatment-related symptoms.<\/p>\n

In Dr. Sung\u2019s role as the Chief Clinical Data Scientist, she and her team made up of machine learning specialists, data analysts and data engineers, are involved in the creation and deployment of machine learning models both for research and for clinical implementation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
