OMOP

Enabling Multi-Centre Collaborations

SEDAR SickKids Enterprise-Wide Data In Azure Logo

The Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data Model (CDM) standardizes the structure and vocabulary of observational data to enable efficient analyses that can produce reliable evidence. OMOP was developed by the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) based at Columbia University and is being used around the world.

The SickKids version uses SEDAR data and de-identifies it (SK-OMOP DeID). Time stamps are shifted but are consistent within individuals.
