However, we are currently unable to determine the child\u2019s (or parent\u2019s) perspectives on their well-being, functioning, symptoms, and experiences with treatment because there are no validated patient-reported outcome measures for this purpose.<\/p>\n<p>The aims of this project are to: (i) Evaluate the suitability of the Patient Reported Outcomes of Fractures (PROOF&#x2122;) as an outcome measure for children with upper and lower extremity fractures; and (ii) Validate the PROOF&#x2122; as a meaningful outcome instrument for clinical research for this population.<\/p>\n<p>View the <a href=\"https:\/\/lab.research.sickkids.ca\/pscoreprogram\/proof-ue\/\"><span style=\"color: #00b0d8\">PROOF-UE&#x2122;<\/span><\/a>. The parents \/ primary caregivers of these children may also be invited to participate by completing questionnaires.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What is involved? <\/strong>Some children, their parents and various health care professionals with expertise in fractures may be asked to participate in interviews regarding the questionnaire and the items in it.
