They are validated questionnaires and the results help us provide the appropriate care for you or your child. Additionally, if you or your child consented to participate in a research study (e.g., the <a href=\"https:\/\/lab.research.sickkids.ca\/neuroinflamm\/research\/other-studies\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Neuroinflammatory Patient Registry<\/span><\/a>), \u00a0the information collected on these questionnaires may be analyzed and published as group data in the future. Your identity will not be disclosed in this process. This data helps us learn more about neuroinflammatory conditions so that we can better manage them. You can view some of our ongoing research <a href=\"https:\/\/lab.research.sickkids.ca\/neuroinflamm\/research\/\"><span class=\"s1\">here<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Q: What if I have multiple appointments within a short timeframe? Do I have to keep completing the questionnaire each time?&#8221; color=&#8221;pink&#8221; open=&#8221;true&#8221; custom_font_container=&#8221;tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23d71f85&#8243; custom_google_fonts=&#8221;font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal&#8221; use_custom_heading=&#8221;true&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px;line-height: 25px\">We recommend completing the questionnaires at least once every 6 months.<br \/>\nFor example, if you have an appointment with us in January and another one in March, you are not required to complete the questionnaire. REDCap is developed and maintained by a team at Vanderbilt University and licensed free of charge by the Research Institute at The Hospital for Sick Children. The application and data are housed on servers provided by The Hospital for Sick Children.
