Summary: Young children and toddlers are dramatically underrepresented in neuroimaging studies, and this is largely due to poor compliance with conventional neuroimaging technologies. Using our new wearable OPM technology, this study investigates brain activity and behavioural relations from on young children, including children with autism (who are usually diagnosed at the age of 2-4 years) and their younger siblings (at 1-3 years of age), who are at a higher risk of a future autism diagnosis. We will also be monitoring children within the age of 1-5 years old that are typically developing controls, longitudinally.
