Collaborative Knowledge Sharing

Using human-centered design, this project involved a collaboration between youth, medical experts and community agencies from the Young Parents No Fixed Address network, integrating a diversity of lived experiences and a depth of clinical expertise to develop a tool that endeavoured to effectively communicate key concepts to healthcare providers. The goal of this project was to determine if a visual representation of evidence-based guidelines in the form of an infographic improved healthcare provider awareness of best practices and community resources for the care of pregnant and parenting adolescents.
