Stephanie Kyle, B.Sc.
Graduate Student (PhD)

Stephanie Kyle graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2011 with a B.Sc. in Biomolecular Studies. While at Eckerd, her senior thesis focused on oxidative stress in a fluorescent transgenic strain of C. elegans. Kyle is currently a student at Baylor College of Medicine in the Molecular and Human Genetics program working towards a PhD in the Justice lab. Her thesis focuses on the metabolic aspects of Rett syndrome. After graduate school Kyle hopes to stay in the mouse genetics field and pursue a postdoctoral position. In her spare time she likes to go camping. Also, one time she made it halfway through a 3-foot-long Cuban sandwich eating challenge… which was pretty cool.
