Neeti Vashi, PhD
Research Associate

 

Neeti Vashi graduated from McMaster University with a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2014. As part of her thesis project, she studied dopamine components in C.elegans mutants as a model for Parkinson’s disease. Neeti worked as a Research Associate at the Genetics and Genome Biology Program at SickKids. In the Justice lab, she studied the cause of breathing defects in Rett syndrome. When she’s not in the lab, Neeti enjoys travelling and training for powerlifting.
