RapkinĀ is currently a postdoctoral research fellow investigating the epigenetic and chromatin-based changes that occur in response to the expression of a potent oncogene and regulator of puripotency. Prior to her work in the Justice lab, she obtained a PhD from the University of Toronto in the Department of Biochemistry where she characterized the role of a histone chaperone on maintaining the structural organization of the heterochromatin landscape.
