Vina Mohabir

Vina Mohabir is a graduate student with the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, and completing her PhD with the iOUCH Pain Lab, co-supervised by Drs. Jennifer Stinson and Chitra Lalloo. Vina’s PhD thesis focuses on the development and evaluation of a Health-Related Stigma Intervention for Youth with Sickle Cell Disease. Vina is an advocate for patient partnership in research and acts within a number of patient advisory groups to ensure the voices of those with lived experience are included and valued in the research process.
