Dr. Tieghan Killackey

Dr. Killackey was a postdoctoral research fellow with the iOUCH Pain Lab from 2020 to 2023. She is now the RBC Chair in Cardiovascular Nursing Research at University Health Network and an Assistant Professor at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. Dr. Killackey’s research uses qualitative and mixed-methods research to improve patient and family experiences within chronic illness care, with specific emphasis on enhancing patient autonomy and supporting self-management through transitions using technology and virtual care.
