Dr. Chitra Lalloo
B.H.Sc., PhD
Dr. Chitra Lalloo completed a Bachelor’s of Health Science at McMaster University, followed by a PhD in Medical Sciences at McMaster University and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto. Dr. Lalloo is a Senior Research Associate in the iOUCH Pain Lab, where she is the Research Lead for the both the iCanCope pain self-management platform and Paediatric Project ECHO, a Ministry of Health-funded initiative to train interprofessional health-care providers in the management of medically challenging patients.
Dr. Lalloo is also an Assistant Professor with the Institute of Health Policy, Management & Evaluation at the University of Toronto. In this role, she teaches consumer health informatics and supervises graduate students in projects related to digital health and virtualized medical education.
