There are three main goals of this consortium. The first is to establish a network of Canadian Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) experts and to promote collaboration among them. The second is to increase education about TBI by investing in the trainees who are the next generation of TBI experts. The third is to facilitate research by awarding pilot grant awards that will lead to large multi-centre grants.

By facilitating collaboration among experts across the continuum of care,  TBI patients will benefit from harmonized research and the translation of this research to the bedside.
