Most of our studies are carried out using the animal models of the chinchilla and the mouse. Chinchillas are precocious animals and have a hearing range similar to humans. Mice are altricious and have a high frequency hearing range. Both animal models allow us to observe a range of hearing abilities with the added advantage of\u00a0genetic modeling available in mice. \u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div><div
