In a partnership with\u00a0<span style=\"color: #64a0c8\"><a style=\"color: #64a0c8\" href=\"https:\/\/www.perc-canada.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pediatric Emergency Research Canada<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(PERC), the EnRICH Lab leads the\u00a0<strong>Methods Core<\/strong>\u00a0for this<span style=\"color: #64a0c8\"> <a style=\"color: #64a0c8\" href=\"http:\/\/news.umanitoba.ca\/prescribing-the-right-medicine-for-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CIHR funded four-year project<\/a><\/span>. \u00a0The four trials, all set in the emergency department, were chosen based on their potential to benefit from innovative methods as well as on the prevalence of the conditions they address.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <span style=\"color: #64a0c8\"><a style=\"color: #64a0c8\" href=\"https:\/\/can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov%2F41505155%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cachiara%40sickkids.ca%7Cca94023e309c4d16f14308de6598b175%7C3961553ff47e49eb9f6ccf8518914e9a%7C0%7C0%7C639059903686338047%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=kpSGwJoMnAGSefG5yGIq1PzfuHilREVeQcUAfzNwr50%3D&amp;reserved=0\" data-outlook-id=\"efbb8721-fcc4-46d7-84bd-dada12f02cd2\">No-OUCH trial<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>has been published. It used a patient preference approach to randomization to evaluate the comparative effectiveness of ibuprofen alone, or in combination with acetaminophen or hydromorphone, in clinical pain relief for suspected fractures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov%2F40673584%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cachiara%40sickkids.ca%7Cca94023e309c4d16f14308de6598b175%7C3961553ff47e49eb9f6ccf8518914e9a%7C0%7C0%7C639059903686391996%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=qXBBj33uM5h9JMV%2ByhI%2FE%2Fxe%2BzvlArefEur7gDQ4KJo%3D&amp;reserved=0\" data-outlook-id=\"22aa0390-29af-4391-b96c-5ae012a396be\"><span style=\"color: #64a0c8\">DOSE-AGE Study<\/span><\/a> as been published. This pragmatic trial that evaluated both safety and efficacy of multiple doses of ondansetron administered post-discharge to children with acute gastroenteritis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">The BIPED Bronchiolitis trial has been <span style=\"color: #64a0c8\"><a style=\"color: #64a0c8\" href=\"https:\/\/can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov%2F41225556%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cachiara%40sickkids.ca%7Cca94023e309c4d16f14308de6598b175%7C3961553ff47e49eb9f6ccf8518914e9a%7C0%7C0%7C639059903686485417%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=rGtNS90pYa5N547nLrt1p5S76YRykYwcfRghdApLmyc%3D&amp;reserved=0\" data-outlook-id=\"3040348b-bf89-41a2-bc8a-d9c62a2c7c94\">submitted for publication<\/a><\/span>.
