His project involved the generation of induced Pluripotent Stem (iPS) cells from Rett syndrome patients. These patient-iPS cells served as a source for patient specific neurons which were\u00a0then phenotyped for disease-associated phenotypes.<\/p>\n<p>Before completion of his PhD, Cheung\u00a0had hoped to have had lunch at every restaurant in Toronto and collected the autographs of as many stem cell researchers as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Funded by NSERC Graduate Scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Selected Publications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Chuen AY<\/strong>, Horvath LM, Carrel L, Ellis J.
