She studied renal development. Sazia established a protocol to generate glomeruli from patient derived induced pluripotent stem cells and developed a transplantation method to generate vascularized glomeruli.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">In the Ellis lab, Sazia worked with patient derived induced pluripotent stem cells (Rett syndrome and ASD) to generate peripheral sensory neuron that can be a useful model system for drug screening to treat ASD and Rett syndrome patients.
