Our research<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>The Brumell Lab is working to understand how intracellular pathogens interact with their hosts to subvert cellular immunity and adapt host processes to their advantage.<\/p>\n
Although we primarily focus on Salmonella<\/i> and Listeria<\/i>, we have been recently expanding the common themes identified in these bacterial models to other pathogens including parasites such as Trypanosoma<\/i>.
