Neeti Vashi graduated from McMaster University with a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2014. As part of her thesis project, she studied dopamine components in C.elegans mutants as a model for Parkinson’s disease. Neeti is currently a graduate student at the University of Toronto in the Molecular Genetics program. In the Justice lab, she is studying the cause of breathing defects in Rett syndrome. When she’s not in the lab, Neeti enjoys travelling and training for powerlifting.
