Stephen McDonald was born in Ajax, Ontario and graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Human Biology and Psychology in 2010. He completed a Master’s of Science in the Anatomy and Cell Biology program at Western University in Dr. Arthur Brown’s lab, where he investigated the role of neural stem cells after spinal cord injury. McDonald is now a research technician in the Justice lab contributing to exciting research on Rett syndrome. He loves baseball and is a big Blue Jays fan.
